Phone Number Formatting Tool

We are seeking a talented programmer to write a one-time code to format a phone number from the format –-6071 to (***) ***-6071. This code will be used to update a large database of phone numbers and ensure that they are properly formatted for display and use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write a program that takes a phone number in the format –-6071 as input and outputs it in the format (***) ***-6071
• Test the code thoroughly to ensure it works correctly and produces the desired output
• Document the code and provide clear instructions on how to run it

Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, or PHP
• Experience working with string manipulation and regular expressions
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to work independently and deliver the project on time
